Work Life I am a Freelance IT Support Consultant and have previously worked for some large organisations as the Abbey (National), Halifax Bank of Scotland and NHS to name three. Also a couple of City Councils as well. I have been a Team Leader and Computer Engineer and acted as Project Manager on some jobs.I am involved with Kestrel Software and operate as Application Support and Training. In this role I sell, install, train and maintain the application throughout the UK. Our main application is a Booking Resource program called 'Euphoria', which is used by Scottish Enterprise and Fife Council amongst others. I have attained an M.C.S.A. The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Qualification from the University Of Strathclyde in 2002

I obtained this further qualification in 2005
As an MCSA my implementation responsibilities include installing and configuring parts of systems. Management responsibilities include administering and supporting these systems. The typical MCSA supports hundreds to thousands of users at 2 to 100 physical locations. Typical network services and resources include messaging, database, file and print, proxy server or firewall, Internet and intranet, remote access, and client computer management. Connectivity needs include connecting branch offices and individual users at remote locations to the corporate network and connecting corporate networks to the Internet
